* At first I was not sure if this model was merely a Kain+Abel Special, where the handle had been exchanged over time. Meanwhile, however, I have discovered this razor twice more, which makes it very likely that it is indeed the original composition.
However, since this handle was also used with at least two straight razors by the manufacturer Merx & Co. (namely the model 532, and a model with a blade from Kayser Ellison Silver Steel), I assume that Emil Broch purchased the handle from some wholesaler.
