My first Kain-Abel straight razor was a random find, as I have already described here. I bought the Kain+Abel Special with a blade of Boehler steel in April of 2016. While researching for the manufacturer, my enthusiasm for these razors grew steadily. While I had purchased my first razor only because of the blade steel, my ongoing research soon led me to acquire more straight razors made by Emil Broch. As a result, my collection has grown steadily – albeit hesitantly – over the years.
What follows is a list of the items I have collected in the course of three years. In order to allow an indication of the distribution of the razors by Emil Broch, I have added the place of residence of the respective previous owners to the list.
